NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Design Review Board & Historic Preservation Commission of the Village of New Paltz, Ulster County, State of New York, on the application of Jeff and Andrea Noel for a certificate of appropriateness to construct a one-story addition on the south (Henry Court) side of their home at 160 Huguenot Street in the Village of New Paltz. A digital copy of the application is available for review by emailing hpc@villageofnewpaltz.org.

The public hearing will take place at the Commission’s regular meeting on Monday, November 18, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. in the first-floor meeting room at Village Hall, 25 Plattekill Avenue, and via Zoom. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Commission secretary at least five days prior to the hearing date.

The Village of New Paltz will begin their annual leaf pick up throughout the
Village on November 4, 2024 for a two-week period. We will start the pick
up on the north side on November 4, 2024 to November 8, 2024. We will start
on the south side on November 11, 2024 to November 15, 2024.

If bagging leaves, only biodegradable bags will be accepted.

BAGGED OR LOOSE LEAVES ONLY SHOULD BE PLACED AT CURBSIDE.

Biodegradable bags can be purchased from the Village of New Paltz at

25 Plattekill Avenue Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
for the price of $2.50 per five pack.

Deadline Change for: Roof-Mounted Photovoltaic System at Village of New Paltz Fire Department Building RFPs

The Village of New Paltz will continue accepting proposals to outfit the Fire Department with a Solar Array. Proposals will be now be accepted until 1:00 p.m. on November 15 , 2024
